My name is Alex Bateson. I recently graduated from Western Carolina University. At Western I got a Communication major with a focus in Broadcasting. I am supposed to sound professional here, but I feel like this is a better place for me to show off my comedic stylings.

Back on track, I am part of the Western Carolina Overwatch Team. Overwatch is a team based first person shooter that is very reliant on teamwork to do well. Being on this team at a high level of play has helped me with my communications skills and my situational awareness. As someone who plays support primarily I have to focus on the small details of the game while keeping my team alive and communicating effectively.

Overall I would consider myself a reliable and resourceful person professionally and creatively. I am able to work with what I have to the best of my extent. I love “limitations” on the creative process because they prove to be fun problems to solve.
